How to close/exit an application?
There are several ways to exit an application:
- At main screen, use the keyboard input panel, tap Ctrl + q
- Start Menu->Settings->System->Memory->Running Programs, select the application you want to terminate and tap Stop
- On Windows Mobile 6.1 or later, open Task Manager and select the application. Press the End Task soft key to close the application.
- Use a third party application such as DTSysView Pro, or WisBar
How do I display the help file?
From the application main screen, tap Start Menu->Help.
Can I install your products on microSD, SD, CF cards, or Microdrives?
Although some applications may work if they are installed on external cards(microSD, SD, CF cards, or Microdrives), this is not supported. Specifically, TreNotes and TimeBiller will have problems when running from an external card. However, you can store TreNotes data files on it.
Do your products support Handheld PC?
Currently, none of our products runs on Handheld PC. This includes HP Jornada 720.
Problems with installing software or experiencing synchronization issues?
One possible solution is to download the latest version of Microsoft ActiveSync for your device.
On Windows Mobile 5.0 device, the system reports that it is unable to remove the previous version of an application. How can I install the latest version?
Please follow these steps to reinstall:
- Tap No to stop the installation.
- Tap Start Menu->Settings->System tab->Remove Programs icon.
- Tap on the application and tap Remove.
- If the system has problems removing the application, tap Yes to remove it from the list.
- Tap Ok to close the screen.
- Run File Explorer and navigate to My Device\Program Files directory.
- Tap and hold on the application directory to display the context menu.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Yes to confirm.
- Tap Yes to confirm again.
- Once the whole application directory is deleted, you can install the application normally.
Download and Support Related
The password does not work when prompted during installation. What happened?
There are several possibilities:
- The password entered is incorrect. Please try again.
- The password has been changed due to security reason. Please use the Resend Update form to obtain the latest download information.
- You have downloaded the incorrect package. Please note that the password is specific to the package you purchased. For example, TreNotes Pack password cannot be used to install Desktop TreNotes or TreNotes package. Make sure you download the package using the link provided in the update email.
Why is the demo version still running after I have installed the full version?
You must exit the demo version before you install the full version. From the application main screen, close the application and then start the installation again.
There is no password information provided for support download when I purchased the application. How will I receive software update information?
In an effort to reduce the amount of emails received by registered users, we do not send update notifications anymore. Please feel free to check our support page regularly for new updates and fixes or subscribe to our RSS feed. And use the resend update form to request for latest update information and password.
I downloaded the latest version and after installation, the About screen does not show the new version number?
Please make sure you exit the application before installing the newer version. The setup program will not be able to overwrite the old version while it is running.
After I downloaded a demo version, WinZip reports that it is an invalid archive. What happened?
This is most likely caused by a corrupted download. It usually happens if you use a phone line connection to the Internet. Please download the file again.
Can I use the demo version for updating to the latest version?
Demo version cannot be used for update purpose. You will immediately lose access to the application if demo version is previously installed.
